Service-Learning Program
Programs available for kids between 11-18 years old, adults, senior citizens, and families!
Service-learning couples community service with learning. The purpose is to give you experience working
in the community and then time to discuss and reflect on your experience so that you can increase your learning! Through
service-learning, both you and the people being served can establish a mutually beneficial and learning relationship.
In our programs, you will spend some time in the classroom talking about the community issues you are interested
in and some time participating in a community project. Projects may be related to the environment, marine life, native
Hawaiians, other minorities, the homeless, or the elderly.
